Ovid crash leads to DWI arrest after midnight

A late-night crash in the Town of Ovid led to a DWI arrest early Thursday morning, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Nicholas Ike, of Lodi, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. on May 8 after deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident. Sheriff Tim Thompson said Ike was charged with Driving While Intoxicated during the course of an official investigation. No injuries were reported.

Ike was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ovid Court to answer the charges.
