A state judge has sided with the town of Otisco, ruling that Wonderland Forest must comply with local noise and mass gathering laws, according to Syracuse.com. The decision affirms the town’s authority just weeks before the venue’s concert season begins.
Wonderland, a 400-acre site hosting multi-day festivals, had challenged the town’s rules, but the court upheld limits on noise and events over 250 attendees. The venue has not yet applied for permits required under the law, and town officials are weighing enforcement options.
Despite the ruling, upcoming shows — including one on May 23 — remain scheduled. Wonderland also faces a separate internal legal dispute between co-owners over finances.
