Trumansburg Central School District voters will head to the polls May 20 to weigh in on a $32.1 million budget proposal for 2025–26, representing a 3.2% increase in spending, according to district officials.
The plan includes significant investment in educational programs and a nearly $1 million spending boost, while capital expenses are expected to decrease. The district also plans to purchase new school buses, pending voter approval. Taxpayers with $250,000 homes would pay $3,485 under the new levy.
With state aid still uncertain due to ongoing budget delays in Albany, officials emphasized the budget aims to stabilize operations after last year’s staffing cuts and enrollment concerns.
