Corning community rallies for teen killed in e-bike crash

A GoFundMe campaign continues to collect donations for the family of Lucas Saurbaugh, the teenager who died after colliding with a pickup truck while riding an e-bike. Family friend Eric Kizis launched the fundraiser on Easter Sunday to honor Lucas and support his grieving loved ones.

Kizis initially set a $15,000 goal but quickly raised it to $55,000 due to overwhelming community support. Plans are also underway for the Corning Painted Post Little League to organize a barbecue fundraiser, though league officials have not yet commented.

The fundraiser highlights how the community has come together to help the Saurbaugh family through this devastating loss.
