The Aurelius Fire Department is firing up the grill this Saturday for a community chicken BBQ, offering a hearty meal and a quick, drive-thru experience.
The event kicks off at 11 a.m. on April 26 at 6320 Half Acre Road in Auburn. Meals are priced at $15 each and include a half chicken, beans, salt potatoes, a roll, and dessert. The event is drive-thru only and accepts both cash and credit.
Organizers are encouraging early arrivals, as demand for the fire department’s BBQ events tends to be high. With limited quantities available, meals are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
This community favorite is not just about good food—it also supports the fire department’s ongoing efforts and operations. The event will proceed rain or shine.
