Seneca County LDC to review economic plan and Willard study at May meeting

The Seneca County Local Development Corporation (SCLDC) will convene for its regular monthly meeting on May 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Lyons National Bank Community Room in Waterloo.

The agenda includes key items that could shape the county’s economic future, including the next steps in the ongoing Economic Development Strategic Plan and a review of the recently completed Willard Highest & Best Use Study.


New business on the docket includes the signing of fiduciary statements and discussion of certificate of deposit (CD) banking allocations. The board will also consider the draft language for a videoconferencing policy and determine a date for a related public hearing.

A consent agenda item includes approval of minutes from the previous meeting held April 3. An executive session may be called if needed before adjournment.

The meeting is open to the public and will take place at 2433 NY-414, Waterloo.
