Residents near The Ballroom at Carey Lake in Macedon are being advised of a scheduled fireworks display on Saturday, April 26, as part of a private event.
The 10-minute pyrotechnic show will take place between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. at 959 Walworth Penfield Road. Skylighters of New York, LLC is managing the display in accordance with Town of Walworth regulations.
Officials are urging pet owners to take precautions. “As many animals become alarmed by the noise, it is recommended that you leave your pets inside the house during this time,” the notice said. Residents with pets sensitive to loud sounds are encouraged to use distractions like televisions or radios to help reduce the impact.
The Ballroom at Carey Lake stated it will make every effort to minimize disruption to the community during the event.
