A Rochester man was arrested in Victor on Tuesday morning after deputies observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit on Valentown Road.
Richard D. Ward, Jr., 34, was taken into custody at 10:34 a.m. and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, a misdemeanor, along with a speeding violation, according to a press release from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies transported Ward to the Ontario County Jail, where he was processed and later released to a sober third party. He is scheduled to answer the charges in Victor Town Court at a later date.
