A vintage car burst into flames Tuesday afternoon in Ontario County, drawing emergency response from two fire departments.
The 1969 Chevrolet S Nova, owned by 69-year-old John Nicolo of Manchester, was fully engulfed when deputies arrived at 870 Faas Road shortly after 3:15 p.m., according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Firefighters from Manchester and Shortsville responded quickly and extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Deputies said the fire appears to have been mechanical in nature. The investigation was led by Deputy Bodine.
