Wayne-Finger Lakes high school sports: April 21 scoreboard

Mynderse baseball rode a dominant two-way performance from Alan Plummer to secure a win over Midlakes, while the Blue Devils softball team also picked up a victory behind balanced offense and solid pitching. In girls lacrosse, Victor edged Brighton in overtime, thanks to a six-goal effort from McKenna Anderson, and Lyons softball stayed red-hot with another double-digit scoring outing.

Haley Young, Bella Burlew, and Hannah O’Brien each had two hits and two RBI to lead the Blue Devils’ offense. Young also earned the win after striking out four.

Rylee Richardson tallied three hits and drove in four runs to lead the Lionsโ€™ offense, which has posted double-digit runs and hits in each of its first four games. Keira Weber went the distance in the circle, allowing two runs over seven innings while striking out 10.
