A 19-year-old male died Saturday after colliding with a pickup truck while riding an e-bike on Victory Highway in Painted Post, according to New York State Police. The teen entered the road without yielding and struck the truck and its trailer.
The crash occurred near the Robert Dann Drive intersection just after noon, prompting a full road closure for several hours. The teen was airlifted to Guthrie Corning Hospital but later died from his injuries. The truck driver was uninjured.
State police continue to investigate the crash, and additional details are expected as the case develops.
