A Rochester woman faces criminal charges after authorities say a juvenile consumed alcohol under the supervision of an intoxicated adult during a domestic incident in Wayne County.
Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Mysti Marvin following a months-long investigation into the December 13 incident at a residence on Spencer Street in the Town of Lyons.
According to investigators, Marvin had recently moved into the home with the help of her ex-husband, Robert Homer, and his friend Richard Brown. Deputies say Marvin and Brown became intoxicated while helping with the move. Later that night, Marvin and Homer allegedly left the residence to go to the store, leaving an underage juvenile in Brown’s care. Authorities allege that Brown, while still intoxicated, allowed the juvenile to drink alcohol.
Marvin is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Unlawfully Dealing with a Child. She was issued appearance tickets to return to the Town of Lyons Court at a later date. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that both Homer and Brown were previously charged in connection to the same incident.
The investigation was led by Detective R. Harkins and Deputy Cody.
