Authorities in Seneca Falls are searching for a man wanted in connection with multiple felony drug charges and a court no-show.

The Seneca Falls Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 46-year-old John R. Brignall, who failed to appear in court on several serious charges, including criminal possession of a forged instrument, possession of a controlled substance, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

According to a wanted poster issued by the department, Brignall is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. His weight is unknown. The charges against him include possession of a controlled substance in the third degree—specifically methamphetamine—and possession of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

Officials did not specify when Brignall missed his court appearance but warned residents not to approach him. “You should not take any police action yourself other than to contact the Seneca Falls Police Department,” the poster stated.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the department at 315-568-4850. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the department’s online tip line at https://senecafalls.com/gov/dept/police/tip/.
