Police charged Asproules with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, a Class E felony, and Harassment in the Second Degree, a violation. While processing the arrest, officers also discovered an active warrant stemming from a prior incident on January 13. In that case, Asproules was accused of a separate violation of a full stay-away order, leading to a charge of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

Asproules was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
