Two Jamestown residents have been arrested and charged in separate federal complaints with participating in a drug trafficking conspiracy involving heroin, fentanyl, and methamphetamine, according to U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo.
Sabrina Flores, 24, also known as “Notorious Marie,” and Sandra Pavlock, 45, also known as “Sondra L. Pavlock,” each face charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, controlled substances. If convicted, each could face up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
According to the criminal complaints, both women are alleged associates of Zaid Mendoza, a previously indicted defendant linked to narcotics and sex trafficking operations. Investigators reviewed Facebook messages exchanged between Mendoza, Flores, Pavlock, and others, which allegedly referenced the use and sale of heroin and fentanyl in the Jamestown area.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti. The investigation was led by Homeland Security Investigations, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Authorities emphasized that the charges are accusations and both defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
