46th annual Rosenkrans Memorial Golf Tournament raises over $8,700 for cancer research

The 46th Annual Robert “Bob” Rosenkrans Memorial American Cancer Society Golf Tournament raised $8,720.60 to support cancer research and patient services, Generations Bank announced this week.

The fundraiser, held on June 18 at the Seneca Falls Country Club, was organized once again by Generations Bank and supported by local businesses, families, and community members committed to the fight against cancer.

“Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and the steadfast support of our community, we’re proud to have raised these vital funds in the fight against cancer,” said Derek Dyson, Chief Information Officer at Generations Bank.

Dyson and Kristin Sandroni, the bank’s Marketing & Media Specialist, presented the check to Brandon Swain, Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society.

“The American Cancer Society is incredibly grateful to Generations Bank for once again organizing a truly impactful and successful golf tournament,” Swain said. “For 46 years—since Bob Rosenkrans first teed off this incredible tradition—the ACS Golf Tournament has brought people together in support of a cause that touches so many lives.”

Swain noted that the funds raised continue to benefit cancer survivors, caregivers, and families throughout the Finger Lakes region, helping provide vital services and resources where they’re most needed.
