A Naples woman is facing multiple charges after authorities say she made over a dozen false emergency calls to Yates County 911 over the span of nearly a month.

Laura M. Dicampli, 37, was arrested Tuesday on charges including aggravated harassment in the second degree, failure to comply, and 13 counts of falsely reporting an incident, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said Dicampli repeatedly contacted emergency dispatchers between March 10 and April 6 to report a fictitious incident. Investigators later determined the reports were unfounded.

Deputies located Dicampli in a vehicle on Italy Valley Road around 8 a.m. Tuesday. When they attempted to execute an arrest warrant, she fled, prompting a short vehicle chase and a 20-minute standoff before she was taken into custody.

Dicampli was booked into Yates County Jail and is awaiting further court proceedings.
