A Naples woman is facing multiple charges after Yates County deputies arrested her following a vehicle pursuit and standoff Tuesday morning.
Deputies took 37-year-old Laura M. Dicampli into custody around 8:08 a.m. on Italy Valley Road, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office. Dicampli was wanted on an arrest warrant stemming from a series of false reports made between March 10 and April 6.
Investigators say Dicampli contacted Yates County 911 a total of thirteen times during that period to report incidents that were found to be false. When deputies attempted to arrest her Tuesday, she fled in a vehicle, prompting a brief pursuit. The chase ended in a 20-minute standoff before she was apprehended.
Dicampli has been charged with one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, one count of failure to comply, and thirteen counts of falsely reporting an incident. She was transported to the Yates County Jail and is awaiting arraignment in the Centralized Arraignment Part court.
