A Waterloo man is facing multiple felony charges after police stopped him for driving an unregistered vehicle early Saturday morning.
James C. Clark, 54, was arrested around 1:10 a.m. on April 5 after Waterloo police pulled him over and found he was intoxicated. According to the department, Clark’s blood alcohol content measured 0.14%, nearly twice the legal limit.
Further investigation revealed Clark was driving with a revoked license due to two prior DWI convictions. He also lacked a required ignition interlock device, police said.
Clark was charged with felony counts of Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree. He also received tickets for driving an unregistered motor vehicle and failing to use an interlock device.
Clark is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
