Syracuse center Eddie Lampkin has entered the transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos reported Saturday night.
According to Syracuse.com’s Donna Ditota, Lampkin is attempting to get a waiver from the NCAA for his freshman season, when he played 10 games at TCU.
The 6-foot-11, 265-pound big man averaged 11.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game for the Orange last season while shooting nearly 60% from the field.
Before joining Syracuse, he spent one season with Colorado, helping lead the Buffaloes to the NCAA Tournament, where he scored in double figures in all three games.
Lampkin becomes the fifth player from Syracuse’s 2024-25 roster to enter the transfer portal, joining forward Petar Majstorovic, guards Chance Westry and Elijah Moore, and forward Chris Bell.
