A Waterloo man is facing a larceny charge after police say he stole items from a local store Sunday evening.

Payton J. Gallup, 23, was arrested by the Waterloo Police Department around 7:38 p.m. on March 30. Investigators allege Gallup entered a business, filled his pockets with consumable goods, and left without paying.

Gallup was charged with one count of petit larceny. Officers issued him an appearance ticket, and he is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
