Woman charged after allegedly violating protection orders twice in Ontario

  • Staff Report

A woman is facing felony charges after authorities say she repeatedly contacted and threatened her ex-boyfriend despite court-ordered protections.

State police in Williamson arrested Destiny Andrews, 24, early Thursday morning. Officers said Andrews, who is reportedly homeless, violated court orders of protection on two separate occasions this month involving an ex-boyfriend who lives in the Town of Ontario.

Investigators allege Andrews contacted and threatened the man on both March 9 and March 27. She now faces two counts of felony criminal contempt in the first degree and two counts of aggravated harassment in the second degree.

Following her arrest, Andrews was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment. She was later released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ontario Court.
