  • Staff Report

A domestic incident at Walmart led to an arrest Friday afternoon in Seneca Falls, where police say a man violated a protection order and struck his partner.

Justin A. Bailey, 27, of Waterloo, was taken into custody at 3:55 p.m. on March 29 following a delayed report of the incident. According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, Bailey and his significant other were arguing inside the store when he hit her in the face with an open hand.

At the time, a Class B order of protection was already in effect, listing the woman as the protected party. Police charged Bailey with one count of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and one count of Harassment in the Second Degree.

He was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center and is awaiting arraignment. Authorities have requested an additional order of protection for the victim.
