Odessa-Montour Central School has launched the Grizzly Grub Hub, a free food and essentials center inside its junior-senior high school, in partnership with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
Open nearly every school period, the center offers students and staff access to food, clothing, and household items. Stocked with canned goods, dairy, and frozen items, it replaces the school’s previous Backpack Program and is supported by grants and donations.
Named by students after the school mascot, the Grub Hub plans to expand access to the broader community by fall and begin home deliveries next year.
