The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office will host a New York State Safe Boating Course on April 19, 2025, at the Red Creek Fire Department. The class runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is required for those operating personal watercraft or power-driven vessels in state waters.
Participants must be at least 10 years old. The course covers navigation rules, emergency procedures, and safe boating practices as part of a statewide safety initiative.
