Seneca County authorities have arrested an Ovid man for failing to comply with sex offender registry requirements. Sheriff Tim Thompson reported that Kyle J. Jackson, 35, was taken into custody on March 19 following a routine compliance check.

Investigators discovered that Jackson had not been living at his registered address for more than ten days, a violation of state law. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Ovid Town Court on March 25, 2025.

Law enforcement officials stress the importance of monitoring registered offenders to ensure community safety and uphold legal requirements.
