  • Staff Report

A Waterloo woman was arrested Thursday on an outstanding bench warrant after failing to appear in court on drug-related charges, according to Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson.

Deputies took BobbiJo H. Vanhouten, 45, into custody around 4:26 p.m. on March 13. The warrant stemmed from her previous charges of two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and conspiracy in the fourth degree.

Following her arrest, Vanhouten was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she is awaiting arraignment. Authorities did not provide details on the original circumstances leading to the charges.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional information regarding the case.
