A Clyde woman was arrested early Saturday morning for driving while intoxicated after her vehicle veered off the road, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took Samantha Jones, 29, into custody following an investigation into a car that had gone off Maple Street Road in the Town of Sodus. Authorities allege that Jones was intoxicated while operating the vehicle.
Jones was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where she voluntarily submitted to a breath test, which revealed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.10.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08 or greater, and failing to maintain her lane.
Jones was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Sodus Town Court on April 7 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges.
