The Town of Romulus has secured over $700,000 in state funding for water infrastructure upgrades, including $535,477 in interest-free financing and a $178,483 grant from the Environmental Facilities Corporation.
The funds will support sanitary sewer inflow and infiltration improvements in the Hamlet of Romulus. Officials say the project will enhance environmental sustainability and public health without imposing financial strain on residents.
EFC President Maureen A. Coleman praised the initiative, emphasizing the state’s commitment to funding vital infrastructure projects across New York.
