The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a deal with veteran wide receiver and return specialist Laviska Shenault, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Thursday night.
Shenault, 26, was a second-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars and has played for multiple teams. Last season, he appeared in one game with the Los Angeles Chargers and 11 with the Seattle Seahawks, recording five catches and a 97-yard kickoff return touchdown. He also had a stint with the Carolina Panthers.
Across his career, Shenault has totaled 163 receptions, 1,587 yards, and six touchdowns.
With Buffalo adding Josh Palmer on a three-year deal and returning Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Curtis Samuel, Shenault’s role is uncertain, though he may primarily contribute as a return specialist.
