Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci has announced multiple felony and misdemeanor DWI convictions across the county for January and February 2025. The convictions resulted from arrests in Auburn, Aurelius, Scipio, Weedsport, Locke, and other areas.
The following individuals were convicted of felony Driving While Intoxicated:
- Kevin Pembridge, 31, of Skaneateles (arrested in Auburn)
- Theresa Coope, 52, of Ithaca (arrested in Scipio)
- Elisa Heme, 39, of Auburn (arrested in Auburn)
- Jessika Carmon, 35, of Union Springs (arrested in Aurelius)
- Shane King, 48, of Weedsport (arrested in Weedsport)
- Jeb Hopkins, 27, of Locke (arrested in Locke)
- Chad Marsh, 43, of Auburn (arrested in Auburn)
- Thomas Hurst, 38, of Auburn (arrested in Aurelius)
Under New York law, a DWI offense can be classified as a felony if the individual has a prior conviction within a certain period or if they were intoxicated while operating a vehicle with a child inside. A felony DWI conviction carries a potential prison sentence of up to seven years.
Additionally, the following individuals were convicted of misdemeanor Aggravated DWI:
- Andrew Fayette, 36, of Aurelius (arrested in Aurelius)
- Steven Soule, 63, of Camillus (arrested in Aurelius)
- Dana Ryan, 56, of Skaneateles (arrested in Auburn)
- Hunter Nasholts, 23, of Aurora (arrested in Springport)
- Michael Iannelli, 34, of Auburn (arrested in Auburn)
- Christopher Ringquist, 44, of Auburn (arrested in Sennett)
- Gabriel Martin, 40, of Memphis, NY (arrested in Brutus)
A misdemeanor DWI conviction can result in up to one year in jail, mandatory installation of an ignition interlock device, a fine ranging from $500 to $10,000, and a minimum six-month license revocation.
District Attorney Antonacci’s office continues to prosecute impaired driving cases aggressively, emphasizing the importance of road safety and legal accountability.
