Rochester woman arrested on warrant in Waterloo

A Rochester woman was taken into custody on Monday evening after failing to appear for arraignment on forgery-related charges, according to the Waterloo Police Department.

Marissa M. Gallia, 28, was arrested at approximately 6:30 p.m. on January 6 on an outstanding warrant. The warrant was issued after she failed to appear in court following her initial arrest on December 26, 2023.

Gallia was originally charged with possession of a forged instrument in the third degree and conspiracy in the sixth degree. She was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.

Authorities have not released further details on the nature of the alleged forgery or conspiracy.
