A man from Elmira was arrested in Waterloo for allegedly violating a court-issued order of protection, according to the Waterloo Police Department.
Raul Guallpa-Tenezaca, 44, was taken into custody and charged with criminal contempt in the second degree. Authorities say he was found at a residence with a protected party under a Class A order of protection against him.
Following his arrest, Guallpa-Tenezaca was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment. No additional details about the incident or the protected party have been released.
