Fire crews battle vehicle fire in Seneca County

Firefighters from Seneca Falls and Clyde responded to a fully involved vehicle fire on Black Brook Road near King Road in Seneca County. The incident, reported by Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire, required a multi-agency response, with additional tankers from Clyde and Tyre requested to the scene.

Seneca Falls Fire Chief, operating as 1461, took command of the incident as crews worked to contain the flames. Seneca Falls Engine 1403 and additional units, including Clyde 962 and Clyde 964, arrived on scene to assist in fire suppression efforts.


Firefighters quickly gained control of the fire, and reports indicated significant progress 15 minutes into the response. Investigators were later called to the scene to assess the situation.

The fire was ultimately brought under control, though no further details regarding the cause or potential injuries have been released. Officials have not stated whether the fire involved any additional hazards or if the vehicle was occupied at the time of the incident.
