A Seneca Falls man has been arrested after allegedly stealing merchandise from the local Walmart, police said.
Richard A. Wollek, 47, was taken into custody by the Seneca Falls Police Department on February 28 at 3:08 p.m. after officers observed him taking multiple items from the store at 1860 North Road. Authorities say Wollek passed all points of sale without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise.
Wollek was charged with one count of petit larceny. He was released on an appearance ticket and is expected to answer the charge in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.
