Artworks Gallery in Seneca Falls is offering a four-week Shading Basics workshop led by Roberta Nelson on Thursdays from March 6-27, 1-3 p.m. The class will teach shading techniques to create realistic, three-dimensional effects in drawings.
Participants will learn about value contrasts, tonal mapping, lighting, and pencil techniques. Students must bring a set of drawing pencils (H to B grades), a 9×12-inch or larger drawing pad, and an eraser. The instructor will provide blending tools and study materials.
