Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one person injured Tuesday afternoon in the town of Galen.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle that had gone off the road and into a field along State Route 31 near High Street at approximately 1:15 p.m. on February 18.
The driver, identified as 28-year-old Evan Morrin of Clyde, was traveling eastbound when the crash occurred. Emergency responders, including Wayne County EMS and the Clyde Fire Department, assisted at the scene. Morrin was transported by Wayne County Ambulance to Newark-Wayne Hospital for evaluation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
