Boil water order lifted for Throop

The Cayuga County Health Department has lifted the boil water order for residents in the Town of Throop after receiving satisfactory water sample results. The samples, collected on February 3 and 4, confirmed that the water is safe for consumption.

The boil water order was initially issued on January 30 for residents on public water along several streets, including Turnpike Road (1412 to 1916), Donovan Road, Canoga Road, Northrup Road, Nugent Road, Youngs Road, Webster Road, Griffin Road, and McDonald Road.
