A community benefit for Greg Settle, pastor of Mount Victory Fellowship and husband of Meridian Village Clerk Sue Settle, will be held on March 22 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ira Fire Department, located at 12591 Route 176 in Cato. The event aims to raise funds to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses as Greg battles pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, a diagnosis he received in January.
The benefit will feature basket raffles, large item raffles, and a $15 ziti dinner available for both dine-in and take-out. Attendees can also enjoy activities for children, including face painting, baked goods, and games.
The Settle family, grateful for the outpouring of community support, hopes the event will provide a chance for friends, neighbors, and supporters to come together for fellowship and solidarity. “Your contribution will help our parents focus on health rather than the financial stress that comes with cancer,” the family shared.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Sondra at (315) 243-8822 or at the door on the day of the event, while supplies last. Updates on Greg’s journey and additional donation opportunities are available through the Facebook page “Greg Settle’s Cancer Journey.”
