Beloved Little Italy pizzeria in Hornell to close

Little Italy of Hornell, a popular dining spot on Seneca Road North, will shut its doors on Feb. 13 after 20 years of operation, according to the owners’ Facebook announcement. Known for its pizzas, wings, and creative menu items like garlic knot burgers, the restaurant has been a hub for local celebrations.

Despite being on the market for five years, no buyer was found to carry on the pizzeria’s legacy. Owners thanked loyal patrons who supported them through various challenges, including the pandemic. They encouraged customers to redeem any gift certificates soon.

The property spans 1,655 square feet with a remodeled dining area and is currently listed at $159,900.
