Senator Lea Webb has initiated an online survey to assess the financial burden of rising utility bills on residents of New York’s 52nd Senate District, which includes Tompkins, Broome, and Cortland counties. The survey seeks input on bill increases and the resulting hardships.
Webb emphasized that her office receives weekly complaints about utility costs, billing issues, and a lack of transparency from providers. She hopes the survey results will inform policies to hold utility companies accountable and provide economic relief for working families.
The survey is open until April 1 for residents in the district.
