Wednesday night saw 13 basketball games across the Wayne-Finger Lakes.
History was made in East Rochester, where senior Jayla Bell became the Lyons girls’ all-time leading scorer, surpassing Janitha Knight’s mark of 1,858 points set in 2001.

Meanwhile, the Waterloo girls beat Bloomfield on Maci Mueller’s late three-pointer in a high-scoring back-and-forth affair and the Geneva girls erased a nine-point deficit with 90 seconds left to stun Wayne. On the boys’ side, Geneva picked up a 25-point win at Marcus Whitman, who was without two of their most important players.
