FS1 LAWSUIT: What personalities are named in the 42-page court documents? See the full-list here (video)

A recent lawsuit filed against Fox Sports names prominent network figures, accusing them of fostering or enabling a toxic work environment. The legal complaint, brought forward by hairstylist Noushin Faraji, outlines allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination, and abuse of power across various levels of Fox Sports’ leadership and on-air talent.

Skip Bayless, a high-profile sports commentator and co-host of Skip and Shannon: Undisputed before Shannon Sharpe left the network, is accused of persistent sexual advances towards Faraji, including inappropriate physical contact, unsolicited comments, and an offer of $1.5 million in exchange for sex. Despite Faraji’s rejections, Bayless allegedly continued his behavior, creating a hostile work environment.

Joy Taylor, host of Speak, is accused of using her relationship with executive Charlie Dixon to secure prominent roles at Fox. The lawsuit claims Taylor engaged in an inappropriate relationship with Dixon to advance her career and later created a racially and culturally hostile environment for Faraji, including mocking her English and demanding a Black hairstylist instead.

Mark Silverman, President and COO of Fox Sports, is mentioned as someone who allegedly knew or should have known about workplace misconduct but failed to address or prevent it. The lawsuit suggests Silverman was complicit in covering up complaints and maintaining a culture of silence.

Eric Shanks, CEO and Executive Producer of Fox Sports, is similarly accused of being aware of the pervasive misconduct within the network. The complaint claims Shanks participated in silencing victims and protecting high-profile perpetrators from consequences.

Charlie Dixon, Executive Vice President of Content for FS1, is portrayed as a central figure in the alleged misconduct. The lawsuit accuses Dixon of inappropriate sexual behavior, including groping Faraji, coercing female talent into sexual relationships, and retaliating against those who resisted or reported his actions.

Bobby Diaz, a staff member responsible for handling talent microphones, is accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior. Diaz allegedly mocked Faraji’s accent, made lewd comments, and openly dismissed the consequences of his actions, reportedly boasting about his immunity from termination.

Gina Porretti, Faraji’s direct supervisor, is described as dismissive of complaints raised by Faraji. The lawsuit claims Porretti failed to address harassment, allowed a toxic work culture to persist, and made derogatory remarks comparing Faraji to a dog.

Colin Cowherd, host of The Herd, is one of the few figures described positively in the lawsuit. Faraji claims Cowherd remained professional and respectful throughout her time working with him, contrasting sharply with other named personalities.

Emmanuel Acho, co-host of Speak, is alleged to have had a sexual relationship with Joy Taylor, which Taylor purportedly used to secure a hosting position on the show. While Acho himself is not accused of wrongdoing, his relationship with Taylor is portrayed as part of the network’s problematic power dynamics.

Jamie Horowitz, the former President of Fox Sports, is referenced in the lawsuit as having been previously terminated due to sexual harassment allegations. His mention underscores a historical pattern of misconduct within the network’s leadership.

Dana Walden and Gail Berman, both former Fox executives, are mentioned in the context of Faraji’s early career at the network. They are described as professional contacts who indirectly facilitated Faraji’s entry into her role at Fox but are not accused of wrongdoing themselves.

Jane Doe (“Ms. M”), a Fox employee, is accused of racially harassing Faraji, including hurling racial slurs and creating a threatening workplace environment. Despite complaints to Human Resources, the lawsuit claims the company took minimal action to address her behavior.

Shannon Sharpe, who was co-host of Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, is not directly accused of misconduct. However, Faraji claims Skip Bayless falsely accused her of having a romantic relationship with Sharpe, which intensified the harassment she experienced from Bayless.

Afeez Tijani, a former human resources employee turned producer, is cited as an example of the internal corruption at Fox Sports. The lawsuit suggests Tijani’s promotion was tied to his willingness to overlook misconduct and maintain loyalty to Charlie Dixon.

The lawsuit paints a damning picture of the culture at Fox Sports, alleging systemic failures by leadership to protect employees and address widespread harassment and abuse. The legal battle is expected to uncover further details as it progresses.
