Syracuse tight end Oronde Gadsden II announced on social media Monday that he will enter the 2025 NFL Draft.
Over four years with the Orange, he recorded 14 touchdowns and earned two First-Team All-ACC honors.
A 6-foot-5, 236-pound standout from Miramar, Florida, Gadsden arrived at Syracuse as a three-star recruit and broke out in 2022. That season, he set school records for tight ends with 969 receiving yards and 61 receptions, highlighted by game-winning touchdowns against Purdue and a two-score, 141-yard performance in an upset over No. 15 NC State.
Injuries sidelined him early in 2023, but he returned in 2024 to post 934 receiving yards, 73 receptions, and seven touchdowns, earning multiple All-American honors. He was instrumental in Syracuse’s Holiday Bowl victory with two touchdowns.
Gadsden becomes the sixth player to enter the draft, joining Jackson Meeks, Fadil Diggs, LeQuint Allen Jr., Alijah Clark, and Clarence Lewis.
