A Locke man was arrested on New Year’s Day following an alleged domestic dispute, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a residence in the Town of Locke around 6:50 p.m. on January 1 after receiving a report of a physical domestic incident. Following an investigation, Aaron D. Tyrrell, 40, was taken into custody and charged with Menacing in the Third Degree, a Class B misdemeanor.
The victim reported that Tyrrell had physically menaced her by pushing her to the ground during the dispute.
Tyrrell was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment, where an order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim. He was released with instructions to appear in the Town of Locke Court at a later date.
