Eddie Lampkin Jr. and Donnie Freeman led Syracuse to a 75-63 win over Bucknell in their final nonconference game of the season, improving their record to 6-5 in non-ACC play. Lampkin and Freeman’s double-doubles were instrumental in the victory, with Lampkin contributing 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Freeman added 15 points and 11 boards. It was the second time this season both players achieved double-doubles in the same game.

The game’s turning point came late in the first half. Trailing 26-22 with 5:39 remaining, Syracuse surged ahead with a 21-5 run, highlighted by two three-pointers each from Lucas Taylor and Freeman. The Orange entered halftime leading 43-31 and maintained control in the second half, resisting Bucknell’s attempts to rally.

Kyle Cuffe Jr. provided a second-half spark with a seven-point burst during a 13-4 run that extended Syracuse’s lead to 15 points. Taylor also shone from beyond the arc, hitting three triples. The Orange bench contributed 27 points, outscoring Bucknell’s reserves by 15.

Syracuse dominated the boards, outrebounding Bucknell 43-27 and generating 14 second-chance points. They also recorded a season-high 13 steals.

With this win, Syracuse improved to 11-1 all-time against Bucknell.
