A Waterloo man was arrested on December 21 following a traffic stop in Seneca Falls, where authorities say he was found operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
Lawrence E. Wolcott II, 41, was pulled over at 12:08 p.m. for driving with a suspended registration. During the roadside investigation, officers determined Wolcott was under the influence of alcohol.
Due to a prior DWI conviction within the past ten years, Wolcott’s charge was elevated to a felony. He also faces multiple traffic violations, including operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, failure to surrender suspended plates, and driving without insurance.
Wolcott refused to submit to a breath test and was transported to the Seneca County Jail for failing to comply with the chemical test. He will be arraigned at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center.
