With pivotal 2025 elections on the horizon, the Geneva City Democratic Committee is seeking candidates to run for key local offices, including positions on the City Council, County Board of Supervisors, and other important roles.
On the ballot for the November 2025 election will be seats for Geneva City Council Wards 2, 4, and 6, along with the position of Mayor and one At-Large Council seat. Additionally, voters will decide on all three of the city’s County Supervisor seats and the role of Geneva City Judge.
The committee plans to hold endorsement interviews early in the new year and is encouraging interested residents to step forward. Prospective candidates must be registered voters in Geneva and must reside in the district they intend to represent.
In conjunction with its search for candidates, the committee is conducting a survey to understand the priorities of Geneva’s Democratic voters. Residents can share their views on key issues by filling out the survey online at https://forms.gle/DCijnjcSCX8PBTkG7.
