Hammondsport Central School District residents approved a $14.6 million Capital Improvement Project on Thursday. The plan will upgrade the main school building, bus garage, and athletic fields, with key renovations including the gymnasium, cafeteria, and kitchen.
Funding will come from $3.5 million in capital reserve funds, $7 million in anticipated state aid, and $3 million from retiring debt. District officials confirmed there will be no additional tax impact for residents.
The proposal passed with a vote of 152 to 41.
