A woman was fatally struck by a vehicle early Monday morning in Dansville. Emergency crews responded around 6:20 a.m. to the intersection of Main and Clara Barton streets after reports of a pedestrian crash.
Authorities identified the victim as 67-year-old Tarry Priestly of Dansville, who was walking in the roadway when the collision occurred.
The driver and witnesses attempted first aid until first responders arrived. Priestly was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
